Startland News — Tech company at the vanguard of KC startup boom exits to West Coast competitor

Founded in the Kansas City Startup Village in 2012, RFP360 has been acquired by RFPIO. Previously competitors, the two SaaS, RFP software companies will join and to continue developing solutions that serve the entire RFP lifecycle. Their mission is to improve efficiency and effectiveness from request to response and beyond. RFPIO commented on the transaction saying,

“By acquiring RFP360, RFPIO is continuing to invest in the advancement of response management by expanding its breadth of solutions and the audiences it serves.”

RFP360’s employees will remain in the Kansas City area, operating out of their Leawood location which opened in 2019. In addition, Dave Hulsen, formerly the chief operating officer and co-founder of RFP360, will become part of RFPIO’s leadership team as the company pursues rapid growth in RFP request management for procurement teams.
